HTC T6 to be the One with a bigger screen?

Rumor has it that a bigger brother to the One codenamed HTC T6 may be on its way to the market with a much larger screen offering as compared to the company’s most recent 4.7-inch flagship. Not only this, it has also been said that the smartphone’s display size will measure more than 5 inches, but less than 6 inches.
While the UltraPixel-packing handset stands to be quite a stiff competition to the Galaxy S4, the purported device is said to go up against Samsung’s gadgets touting magnanimous displays like those from the Note series, most likely the N7100 which shows off a 5.5-inch screen. We cannot say how true this piece of news is, although considering that the famous Twitter account called @evleaks has revealed the phone’s moniker, we might as well give it the benefit of the doubt.

From what can be gathered, the interiors of the smartphone may welcome the same components that are seen in the One. Guess we could expect a similar quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of DDR2 RAM and a 2,300mAh battery to be present. With predictions of the flagship’s shrunken version supposedly christened M4, floating around, it looks like the Taiwanese manufacturer wishes to extend the benefits of the One to people hailing from diverse sectors.

A post on Pocket-lint which pointed out the details pertaining to the handset in question also spoke of the compact variant’s speculated 4.3-inch touch display. Clearly, a sluggish start hasn’t hampered the manufacturer’s developments and if the rumors turn out to be the real deal, the company indeed seems to have taken efforts to buck up.

In other news, the OEM may be working on a variant with stock Android devoid of the Sense 5 UI which could be considered as something along the lines of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google edition. As per multiple reports, this model should be floating ashore sometime during summer.
After facing troubles with production, the company seems determined to bombard the market with different variants of its crown jewel and the HTC T6 may be in the list. There are no additional details to hang on to as of now and expecting price and release date is a little too farfetched at this point, but then again, tomorrow is another day.
